With February coming to a close it’s worth paying attention to how different my training schedule is during the winter months. Apart from a brief outing during the crazy temperatures we had a few weeks back i’ve only made it out for one more run back in England towards the start of the month. Now this isn’t to say there has been no training though. During these winter months the mountains become my training ground, and with 15 of the last 17 days spent skiing and hiking around the Swiss and Austrian Alps i’m still very much getting the exercise i need.
This isn’t to say that i’m not looking forward to running though. I can’t wait to get back into running shoes and out on the trail. Until then, back to the office…….
